These “Charcoal Yarn Pile Socks” are made with Lunoa’s original Japanese yarn: cotton grown without pesticides and dyed with ceramic charcoal. Perfect for relaxing at home or wearing out and about, they feature a playful splash of color at the ankle in the form of a built-in warmer that keeps you cozy and protected from the chill. Even on your busiest days, keep your feet comfortable and move through the season stress-free while adding a fresh accent to your wardrobe.

Feature 1: Warmth Against the Cold
The thick, towel-like pile knit on the sole uses extra yarn for a cushioned feel. It absorbs perspiration from your toes to keep you comfortable whether you’re indoors or outdoors.

Feature 2: Stress-Free Fit
The attached ankle warmer has an ultra-gentle fit with minimal pressure, making the socks easy to put on and take off.

Feature 3: Remarkable Deodorizing Power
Tested under the SEK Mark fiber product certification standards, these socks neutralize three common odors—acetic acid, isovaleric acid, and ammonia. When new, they eliminate over 99% of these odors, and even after ten washes they continue to remove more than 99% of acetic acid and isovaleric acid and more than 90% of ammonia.

The ceramic charcoal is made in-house from domestic cedar and cypress thinnings. The packaging uses FSC-certified paper sourced from responsibly managed forests. Please note: the loose knit of the ankle warmer can snag easily—handle with care.

Enjoy these socks designed with care for both your comfort and the health of our forests.
